Child Home Safety in Hispanic and Rural Communities Along the Texas–Mexico Border: A Community Health Worker Intervention

This study explored whether community health workers (CHWs) could reduce safety hazards in homes of low-income, rural Hispanic families along the Texas-Mexico border. CHWs visited 47 families with young children to check for hazards and distribute safety devices.
