Effectiveness of Community Health Worker Interventions in Type 2 Diabetes Care: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis of Randomized Controlled Trials

This review looked at how well community health workers help people manage type 2 diabetes. It analyzed 40 studies with more than 9,600 participants and found that CHW programs clearly help lower HbA1c levels. Effect of Community Health Workers on 30-Day Hospital Readmission: A Meta-analysis

This review looked at whether community health workers help lower 30-day hospital readmissions. Seven studies were included, and overall the results showed that patients who received CHW support were less likely to be readmitted than those who got usual care.
