A common saying in the CHW community is “nothing about us without us.” CHW Central is dedicated to highlighting CHW perspectives, views and opinions. CHW Voices, a new page on the CHW Central website, will provide a platform for community health workers to share meaningful stories, opinions, photographs and experiences of triumphs and trials in their work life. It will serve as a space for CHWs to share what matters to them and to help shape the global agenda around CHW priorities.
CHW Central is hiring two CHW Ambassadors to lead content development for CHW Voices. CHW Ambassadors will work with CHW Central for up to 10 hours per week to develop or source, written blogs and opinion pieces, photo essays, videos and/or podcasts.We are specifically looking for community or village health workers and/or Volunteers with a passion for advancing community health work and an interest in writing and communication.
