Quality of home visits by community health workers in primary care and associated factors

This study evaluated factors affecting the quality of home visits by community health workers (CHWs) across 38,865 teams and 140,444 users. Results showed that 51.9% of users rated the visits as high quality. Quality was higher in smaller municipalities, the Northeast, and among teams with well-defined areas, risk-based population assignments, and no worker shortages.
