Promotore-Led Versus Registered Nurse-Led Diabetes Self-Management Education in Mexican Americans: A Randomized Clinical Trial

This study compared the effectiveness of a diabetes self-management program led by either registered nurses (RNs) or community health workers (promotores) for Spanish-speaking Mexican Americans with type 2 diabetes (T2DM).
