Empowering community health workers in dementia care in South Texas

This study trained 61 community health workers in Texas to improve their knowledge and confidence in supporting people with dementia. After the workshop, participants felt significantly more confident and better prepared to apply what they learned. This study looked at how community health workers (CHWs) help Latin American migrants with Chagas disease in Madrid. Most patients were Bolivian women working in domestic jobs and were diagnosed in Spain. Many had heart-related symptoms but no severe heart disease. Uptake of Medicaid Billing for Community Health Worker Services in Louisiana, 2022-2023
