This study explored the challenges community health workers (CHWs) face with the growing use of digital health tools in primary care. It found that while digital tools bring new issues like maintenance, quality, and training, old problems like excessive bureaucracy and work division persist. To succeed, digital health implementation for CHWs requires better support in logistics, funding, and policies.
