This study looked at how COVID-19 and immigration enforcement together affected the health of Latino immigrant communities, based on the experiences of community health workers. It found that fear, distrust, and reduced access to services continued even after the pandemic, making it harder for people to seek care. Community health workers helped build trust and adapt support, but this trust is now being challenged. The study highlights the need for better policies and community-based solutions to improve access to care.
