Community Health Workers are front-line public health personnel who share common attributes with or have a nuanced understanding of the communities they serve. Their membership gives them expertise on delivering interventions but also places them in greatest risk of exposure. In this study, researchers used photovoice to illuminate how the lived experiences of CHWs working, residing, or both in Baltimore City dovetail with facets of their jobs. Findings underscore the need to embed antiracists principles in the fabric of policies and practices that affect CHW workforce
