In Rwanda, Community Health Workers (CHWs) play a vital role in maternal and neonatal health but often lack access to ongoing training, impacting their effectiveness. This study evaluated the impact of eLearning on CHWs’ knowledge. Conducted from April to October 2021 with 36 CHWs in two districts, the study measured knowledge before, immediately after, and six months post-training. Results showed a significant improvement in scores, from 86.5% to 98.2%, which was maintained after six months. The study also found that age and experience influenced training outcomes. These findings suggest that eLearning is an effective way to improve and sustain CHWs’ knowledge and skills.
