Using CFIR framework for understanding barriers and facilitators to implementation of community tuberculosis program in Burkina Faso

by

Authors: Flore M Gisèle Donessouné, Olivier G Sossa, Seni Kouanda

This study examines the factors influencing the implementation of a community-based tuberculosis (TB) program involving Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in Burkina Faso. Through qualitative interviews with health providers, the study identifies both facilitators and barriers to the program’s success. Facilitators include collaboration between stakeholders and flexibility in program adaptation, while challenges include financial constraints and issues with recruitment and management of CSOs. Addressing these factors is crucial for the success of TB control programs in Burkina Faso and similar contexts.
