In Uganda, Village Health Workers (VHW) practice Integrated Community Case Management (iCCM) care, which provides health care assessments of children under the age of 5 years and treatment for malaria, pneumonia, and diarrhea where needed. This study examined community usage of and satisfaction with iCCM care;t 60% of households that accessed iCCM care rated their experience as very good or excellent, 97% would seek iCCM care in the future and 92% were “confident” or “very confident” in the village health worker’s capability.
