July 13, 2023 By

Authors: Hyunsook Shin, Soonyoung Shon, Hyerang Kim, Suk Jeong Lee

This study investigated CHW activities in Kyrgyzstan migrant villages and their impact on individuals and communities. Through a mixed method design, researchers analyzed CHW activities through descriptive statistics and thematic qualitative analysis. Results showed that after home visits, CHWs reported a sense of  increased autonomy, confidence in resource mobilization, greater intrinsic motivation, and improved social recognition.
