This study looked at how nurse-led training sessions for community health workers (CHWs) impacted their skills and confidence in topics like diabetes, mental health, long COVID, STIs, and lead poisoning prevention. By comparing CHWs’ knowledge and comfort levels before and after the sessions, the findings showed that the training helped CHWs feel more prepared to educate their communities and address health needs. These programs are valuable for empowering CHWs to reduce health disparities in their communities.
