Health disparities in women’s health, particularly among marginalized groups, persist due to structural factors like discrimination, lack of access to care, and socioeconomic inequities. This study reviews how structural competence, which trains healthcare providers to recognize these systemic issues, can address health inequalities. Key findings include the role of community health workers, analyzing health data to identify disparities, and incorporating structural competency into medical training. The study emphasizes that equipping providers with these skills can help reduce health disparities and improve care for women from marginalized backgrounds.
