Community health workers (CHWs) play a crucial role in healthcare delivery, especially in low-resource settings. This study explores the perspectives of Community Health Workers (CHWs) on using digital health tools in their work across 28 countries. It found that CHWs are already using digital devices and believe in their potential impact. Training in digital tools increases device usage and belief in digital impact. However, cost remains a barrier, although CHWs are optimistic regardless. Older age and tenure do not hinder digital use. The study underscores the importance of providing CHWs with digital resources and training, reducing cost barriers, and supporting their values to maximize the benefits of digital technologies in healthcare. Overall, CHWs are eager to leverage digital tools to improve healthcare delivery and address global health challenges.
