This review looked at how non-medical providers, like community health workers, nurses, and midwives, can help increase cervical cancer screening, especially for women who are rarely or never screened. It analyzed 35 studies from different parts of the world. These providers helped by educating communities, encouraging participation, supporting self-sampling, and guiding women through the process. Most studies showed that their involvement boosted screening rates, especially when self-sampling was offered. Training and outreach were key to success. The findings suggest that involving non-medical providers can improve access to and equity in cervical cancer screening.
