This study examines how an innovative COVID-19 program in the Philippines, which combined testing with health risk assessments for other diseases, affected the stress levels of community health workers. Using a survey of 128 workers, it found that factors like age, years of service, gender, and employment status influenced their perception of the program’s innovativeness. Workers reported lower personal stress levels during the program’s implementation compared to before. Additionally, higher perceived program innovativeness correlated with lower personal stress and greater occupational support.
