In this study, researchers in Uganda investigated how health products may be most effectively distributed across communities. Four distribution methods for oral rehydration salts for child diarrhea were tested: free home deliveries, free distribution at a local facility, door-to-door sales model, and a control method. Ultimately, researchers found that free delivery of ORS was the most cost-effective strategy. The results of this study may inform future CHW interventions for child diarrheal illnesses.
