Tailoring climate–health competencies for diverse health cadres: Findings from a scoping review

by

Authors: Priyanka Tomar, Neethi Varadaraja Rao

This review looked at training frameworks that help health workers respond to the health impacts of climate change. It found that most existing frameworks were designed for high-income countries and do not fit well in low-resource settings. The study developed a simpler framework that outlines the knowledge and skills needed by different types of health workers, including community health workers, to better prepare health systems and communities for climate-related health challenges.
