Strengthening community health cadres’ capacity in household emergency first aid

by

Authors: Ajeng Purwanty

This study looked at whether training community health volunteers in first aid could improve their ability to respond to emergencies at home. After training that included lessons, demonstrations, and hands-on practice, participants showed much better knowledge, emergency recognition, wound care, resuscitation skills, and overall preparedness. The study shows that practical first-aid training can help communities respond more effectively to household emergencies.
