Vaccine hesitancy threatens the great potential of vaccination against COVID-19. Community health workers (CHWs) bridge the gap between the community and the health care system and can help change the community’s perceptions.. This study aimed to understand the community healthcare worker’s intention to get vaccinated against COVID-19 in India and its determinants. Results showed just over half of CHWs surveyed responded positively regarding intention to be vaccinated for COVID-19 with factors such as education, exposure to COVID-19 cases, perception of risk, and trust in the healthcare system affecting this intention.
