A study of 739 Community Health Workers (CHWs) in Karnataka, India, assessed their Quality of Life (QoL) using the WHOQOL-BREF tool. The average QoL score was 3.4 out of 5, with the highest ratings for social relationships and the lowest for environmental factors. Higher QoL scores were linked to primary education, a personal income above INR 5000, and a family income between INR 15,000 and 40,000, while lower scores were associated with having 5–8 family members, being aged 25-44, and having only secondary or diploma-level education. The findings suggest that improving job satisfaction, income, working conditions, and transportation could enhance CHWs’ QoL.
