This study evaluated factors affecting the quality of home visits by community health workers (CHWs) across 38,865 teams and 140,444 users. Results showed that 51.9% of users rated the visits as high quality. Quality was higher in smaller municipalities, the Northeast, and among teams with well-defined areas, risk-based population assignments, and no worker shortages. Users with chronic illnesses or mobility challenges also reported better outcomes. The findings highlight the need for organized team processes to improve home visit quality and promote health equity.
