This study looked at how well people in the U.S. know about and interact with community health workers (CHWs). It found that more Hispanic/Latino respondents had heard of or worked with CHWs compared to the general public. Most people who interacted with CHWs met them in healthcare settings, while fewer met them in community spaces. The findings show a need to raise awareness about CHWs and the wide range of support they provide.
