In conflict-affected areas, access to primary healthcare is challenging due to various barriers. This study conducted a systematic review to understand the different models of primary healthcare delivery in these settings. It found that healthcare is delivered through health facilities, communities, mobile clinics, outreach programs, and home visits. Services include nutrition, mental health, and sexual/reproductive health, provided by different organizations using either stand-alone or integrated approaches. Many use community health workers for service delivery, which proves to be a cost-effective strategy in these contexts. Understanding these models helps identify gaps and improve healthcare delivery in conflict-affected areas.
