This study explored how many pregnant women completed the recommended four antenatal care (ANC) visits at Ruli District Hospital, Rwanda, and what factors influenced their attendance. Among 421 participants, 57.5% completed all four visits, while 42.5% did not. Higher education, planned pregnancies, no alcohol use by mothers or their husbands, and absence of mistreatment were linked to better ANC attendance. The study recommends better training for community health workers, improved care quality, and customer service to boost ANC visits and improve maternal health.
