This study looks at how village health volunteers in Thailand support oral health in their communities and what helps them do this well. Most volunteers had good support, clear roles, and strong motivation, which mattered more than knowledge alone. Motivation was the biggest factor linked to good practice, along with education level, workload, and positive attitudes. The findings show that supporting and motivating volunteers can greatly improve oral health work in the community.
