This study investigated community perceptions of acute malnutrition treatment by community health volunteers (CHVs) in Turkana and Isiolo counties, Kenya. Through focus group discussions and interviews, caregivers and CHVs found the intervention beneficial, acceptable, effective, and easily accessible. The community health structure facilitated commodity supply and CHV support supervision, enabling implementation. However, operational and systemic challenges were identified, highlighting considerations for scale-up.
