This study explored how older adults in Singapore experienced a health coaching program led by youth community health volunteers. Older participants generally welcomed the support and felt the young volunteers helped them adopt healthier habits and stay engaged after health screenings. They viewed the volunteers as approachable and motivating, especially when they listened well and offered practical advice. The findings suggest that with proper training, youth volunteers can play a useful role in supporting older adults’ health while also strengthening connections between generations.
