This pilot study evaluates a self-paced online training program designed for Nigerian health workers to diagnose and manage hypertension. The course, accessible via smartphones, consisted of 12 modules based on WHO and Nigerian guidelines. Participants showed significant improvement in knowledge, with a pre-test score of 65.4% increasing to 78.2% post-test. Feedback indicated high satisfaction and applicability to their work. The study suggests that mobile digital training could enhance health worker capacity in managing hypertension and other chronic diseases in Nigeria and beyond.
