This study explored how community health workers in Rwanda use the muzima mobile app for patient care. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and group discussions. Most users could complete tasks in the app, though some older and less experienced workers struggled. The app helped manage diabetes and hypertension, reducing visits to health centers. However, users suggested improvements to make the app easier to use and recommended digitizing other health programs. The study highlights the importance of considering users’ needs to improve the app and expand its use.
