This review looked at how mobile health tools, such as smartphone apps and digital systems, support community health workers in finding and following up people who may have tuberculosis. Across nine studies, CHWs found these tools useful and practical because they helped with communication, record-keeping, and decision-making. The review also found that good training, reliable technology, community support, and ongoing monitoring are important for successful use, while technical problems and limited resources remain key challenges.
