In the UK, delays in preventive services are rising. A new approach using Community Health and Wellbeing Workers (CHWs) integrated at GP practices and local authorities shows promise. This model, inspired by the Brazilian Family Health Strategy (CHWWs), provides personalized health promotion at the household level. This study suggests that the approach has the potential to increase prevention uptake, especially in deprived and traditionally hard-to-reach communities in the UK.
