This study engaged with promotores de salud in LA county to understand the Latinx health promotion work they perform. Through qualitative interviews, the study determined that promotores have unique insight on the community they serve but struggle to find opportunities for professional growth.  The study recommends strengthening community-based capacity for advancing Latinx health and improving professional incentives.
