This study assessed the knowledge and misconceptions of Lady Health Workers (LHWs) about osteoporosis prevention in Sindh, Pakistan. Conducted from July to December 2023, the survey included 395 LHWs and used a validated tool to measure awareness. Results showed that 32.65% of LHWs had low knowledge, 48.61% had average knowledge, and 18.7% had good knowledge about osteoporosis. Most participants were aged 29-38, married, had a middle-level education, and were postmenopausal. There was a significant link between higher knowledge levels and academic qualifications. The study suggests that training programs should address the identified knowledge gaps, considering socio-demographic factors.
