This study reviewed the knowledge levels of ASHAs in India across health areas like maternal and child health, communicable and non-communicable diseases. ASHAs demonstrated strong knowledge in maternal and child health but showed gaps in areas like disease surveillance. Factors affecting their knowledge included education, experience, supervision, and training. Strengthening their training and resources can further improve their impact on community healthcare.
