This study in the Kousseri health district, Cameroon, looked at whether working with traditional birth attendants and community health workers could improve childhood vaccination. After the intervention, more children received key vaccines, and almost all children who had missed vaccines were referred for immunization. Most outreach was done through home visits and community talks, which were well received by families. Some challenges, like flooding, made work harder. Overall, involving trusted community workers helped improve vaccination coverage and reduce the number of children who had not received any vaccines.
