This study developed and tested a simple screening tool to help community health workers identify common health problems among older adults in rural India. The tool includes 11 questions that help detect issues early and guide referrals for further care. Testing showed that the tool is reliable, easy to use, and acceptable for both health workers and older adults. The results suggest it can help improve early detection of health problems in older people and support better care in low-resource rural settings.
