This study looked at a training program in Nigeria that helped nurses and community health workers provide basic oral health care in underserved areas. After the training, health workers felt more confident and gave better advice and referrals to patients, who also showed more trust and understanding about dental care. While the program showed promise, it needs better resources, support, and policies to keep it going and make it work long-term.
