by

Authors: Katzman JG, Tomedi LE, Thornton K, Menking P, Stanton M, Sosa N, Harkins M, Katzman N, Liu J, Archer GRD, and Arora S

The University of New Mexico created Project ECHO to enable telementoring between health experts and health care providers in isolated and underserved areas. Joanna Katzman evaluated the effectiveness of 10 Project ECHO programs designed to provide COVID-19-related mentoring in New Mexico, among which included a seven week program to connect CHWs with subject matter experts. Six percent of CHWs participated more than twice in the ECHO programs.
