Factors associated with postpartum hemorrhage (PPH) pose significant barriers to maternal health globally. Researchers interviewed family members, community health workers (CHWs), and healthcare providers in Rwanda to understand their perspectives on strategies to prevent PPH. Respondents stressed that getting pregnant women to a health facility in a timely manner was a key to preventing PPH. Understanding the factors related to PPH will inform necessary prevention strategies that improve maternal health globally.
