The CoGENES program trained community health workers (CHWs) to educate Hispanic/Latino individuals about genetic testing for colorectal cancer. The three-week program improved participants’ self-efficacy, genetic knowledge, and self-confidence. The findings highlight the effectiveness of culturally tailored training for CHWs in educating Hispanic communities about cancer prevention and research.
