India’s rural health system struggles with few doctors and poor facilities. Community Health Workers (CHWs) help fill this gap, especially in caring for pregnant women. This study looked at patient records to see how well CHWs are doing, focusing on things like regular visits and counseling. The results showed that these activities were linked to better health for mothers, such as fewer problems during pregnancy. Using data and computer models, the study found ways to identify high-risk patients and improve care. It suggests a new, practical way to measure CHW performance and guide better health programs.
