Chronic hepatitis B remains a public health concern, especially for people experiencing homelessness, veterans, formerly incarcerated individuals, and people who use drugs. In Texas, community health workers offered free HBV testing and vaccination at low-income housing sites. Out of 524 people who started the vaccine series, 305 (58%) completed it. Older age, receiving the two-dose vaccine, and the year of vaccination influenced completion. The study shows that low-barrier, CHW-led programs can help increase vaccination rates among at-risk populations.
