Despite vaccination programs, vaccine-preventable diseases persist among Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh. This study investigated health service providers’ (HSPs) perspectives on barriers and facilitators to childhood vaccination. Using the COM-B model, data from focus groups and interviews highlighted key factors influencing vaccination. HSPs cited knowledge and communication skills as critical drivers, while caregiver mistrust and lack of awareness posed barriers. Contextual factors like information systems and site accessibility also impacted vaccination rates. Variations between camps underscored the need for tailored strategies including improved communication and collaboration, addressing historical mistrust, and enhancing health workforce conditions to improve vaccination coverage.
