This review examined different ways of mentoring community health workers to help prevent childhood stunting. It found that regular training, supportive supervision, good communication, community involvement, and digital tools can improve community health workers’ knowledge, skills, and ability to support families. While these approaches often led to better health practices, their impact on reducing stunting was mixed and depended on the local setting. The study concludes that long-term, well-supported, and locally adapted mentoring programs are needed to strengthen community health workers’ role in preventing stunting.
