This study describes a dementia training program created to help Community Health Workers (CHWs) better support individuals and families affected by dementia. The program used a train-the-trainer model with practical, evidence-based lessons. From 2020 to 2024, 15 sessions trained 307 CHWs. Results showed clear improvements in knowledge and confidence, and participants found the training useful for their work. While many applied what they learned, few had started teaching others. The program shows that targeted CHW training can strengthen dementia care and promote healthy aging in communities.
