This study looked at how community health workers supported Latino communities during and after COVID-19. It found that they built strong relationships by listening with empathy, respecting culture, building trust over time, and helping people connect to services and reliable health information. Because they were part of the communities they served, they were able to support people in practical and personal ways during difficult times. The study highlights the important role community health workers play in strengthening communities and improving well-being during crises.
