This study evaluated a training program designed to help community health workers (CHWs) and promotoras (CHW/Ps) participate in research. The course, available in English and Spanish, was delivered in-person or online by experienced facilitators. A total of 394 CHW/Ps completed the training, with over 95% reporting improved skills and 98% finding it relevant and useful. While small differences were noted across locations, participants valued learning from peers. The findings suggest this training provides a standardized, scalable way to equip CHW/Ps for research roles, with potential for further study on its long-term impact.
